Shillong, May 24: Anuj Chetry (first) Ayumi M Momin (6th) and Arunav Kumar Paul (19th) have brought laurels to Sherwood School, Tura in the SSLC examination, the result of which was declared on Friday.

Principal of the School, Tasha Sawkmie is jubilant over the success after she assumed office three years ago.

“We had secured top position last year too”, Sawkmie said and added that in the past years, the students had come under top 20.

“Hard work and dedication of all have helped us to achieve this”, Sawkmie said on phone from Tura.
Toppers’ caution on use of mobile phones
Anuj did not use mobile phone, instead depended on it only for extreme situation when there used to be doubts.
He feels that though the school performed well, there is a need to improve the overall performance in Garo Hills.
Anuj wants to pursue higher education in Information Technology in Guwahati.
St Edmund’s gets cent percent result
St Edmund’s Higher Secondary School secured cent percent result besides the three ranks under top 10 the school bagged in HSSLC (Arts) stream.
