Shillong,Oct 12: The government has appointed additional chief secretary in -charge education as the chairman cum managing director of MeECL and it’s three subsidiaries, MPGCL, MPTCL and MPDCL
Earlier, chief secretary Rebecca Suchiang was holding the post.

In a separate notification, Wahlang was made in -charge of Home (police ) and Home (political) departments. He has been relieved of charges of SAD, Forest and Environment and PWD.
