AICC nod for three years’ suspension of five MLAs
Shillong, April 27: The AICC has given nod to suspension of five Congress MLAs for three years.
The suspension is for anti-party activities after they supported the MDA government.
Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) president Vincent H Pala said the disciplinary action committee of the AICC has taken the decision.
“Though, I am yet to get the order,I was informed that they have decided to suspend all the five MLAs for three years and the order will be sent to them immediately” he said.
Ampareen Lyngdoh, PT Sawkmie, Mayralbor Syiem, Kimfa Marbaniang and Mohendro Rapsang had decided not to come out of the MDA government despite the suspension.
