Shillong, Oct 22: The BJP on Tuesday named Tura MDC Bernard Marak as the candidate for Gambegre bypoll.
Congress has fielded Jingjang M Marak, who is a close aide of Tura MP Saleng Sangma who vacated the seat.

NPP has fielded Chief Minister Conrad Sangma’s wife Mehtab Chandee in Gambegre, while former MLA Zenith Sangma’s wife Sadhiarani Sangma is the AITC candidate.
