Shillong, Nov 26: Thieves broke into grotto chapel, Laitumkhrah and stole cash and electronic goods.
A church functionary said the incident took place in the wee hours of Tuesday.

The burglars broke open three steel almirahs, donation boxes and decamped with a laptop, LCD remote and cash.
The lost cash is around Rs20,000.
However, religious articles were not stolen or desecrated.
The CCTV footage shows three persons entering the chapel around 2.45 am.
They entered by breaking the lock on the left side door of the chapel.
