Shillong, Jan 5: A cabinet retreat will be held in Sohra on January 10 and 11.
According to an official source, besides the normal cabinet meeting, various development issues concerning the state will be discussed during the two-day retreat.
Sohra was chosen in the New Year as the venue to refresh the mind to carry forward the decisions taken.
The objective of the programme is to provide a platform to government departments to discuss the gaps through which collaborative effort can be taken to achieve the desired goals and objectives.
The retreat will comprise six interactive sessions with focus on specific themes
and is designed to foster dialogue across departments.
The six themes are vision 2032, nurturing social eco system, livelihood (agriculture), power, youth development and water and environment.
