Central minister for review of transfer of tribal land to Assam in border deal

Shillong, Aug 12: Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs Bishweswar Tudu will review the transfer of tribal lands by Meghalaya government to Assam while resolving the border dispute.

His response is following protests from various quarters against the border deal.

“I will review it as I came to know about the issue only from media persons and not from any party or individual”, he told reporters.on Friday.
