Shillong, Oct 7: Chief Minister Conrad Sangma said that security to candidates and ministers will be provided in the wake of threat of HNLC.
HNLC had threatened NPP after it claimed responsibility for planting an IED infront of NPP office in Lachaumiere.

Speaking to reporters on Thursday after the NPP candidates filed their nominations for Mawryngkneng and Mawphlang, the chief minister said security will be beefed up.
To a question, the chief minister ruled out any anti-incumbency and said good governance of the NPP will help the candidates to win the bypolls.
