Shillong, June 14: Two Hajong youths were found dead inside a shed at Lumsohphoh, under the Laitumkhrah police station, on Sunday (June 14) morning.
They were found hanging inside the shed but they were in a sitting position.

“Today it was reported at about 7 am that two bodies of a male and female aged between 20 to 30yrs were found hanging in a shed at Lumsohphoh beside the Shillong Jowai Road. They have been identified as Miss Pronam Hajong 22 years of Balat South West Khasi Hills (SWKH) and Semanto Hajong 21 years of Ranikor SWKH. The bodies have been shifted to NEIGRIHMS for PM examination”, the East Khasi Hills SP Vivek Syiem said in a statement.
The boy’s face was found tied with a white towel.
