CRPF, NGH village remember martyr Utpal Rabha
Resubelpara, Oct 5: A stretch of PWD road in Bajengdoba in North Garo Hills has been named after Utpal Rabha, who died in a Naxalite attack in July 2018.
The CRPF 120 Battalion officials from Tura, along with district officials, also paid tributes to Rabha.
Wreaths were laid on the monument built in memory of Rabha at his parents’ house in Bajengdoba in North Garo Hills. CRPF commandant Anil Kumar Singh organised the program in a grand manner.
Rabha was posted in Jharkhand as a special CoBRA fighter. On July 6, 2018, he breathed his last after he was hit by a bullet during an encounter.
The village headman and Rabha’s parents were present on the occasion.
Among the guests were RP Marak, deputy commissioner of North Garo Hills, BR Khundu, additional SP, and Ripamchi N Sangma, BDO Bajengdoba.
