Shillong, Nov 26: The Assembly Speaker, Metbah Lyngdoh said he was still examining the merger letter of 12 Congress legislators to TMC before officially recognising the group.
The matter is delayed as it involves 10th Schedule to the Constitution which deals with anti-defection law.

The Congress may challenge the order of the Speaker and demand their disqualification.
