Shillong, Apr 29: Two months after the fire incident, inconvenience is caused to the lawyers and the passers-by as debris from the Shillong Bar Association building is yet to be removed.

On February 24, the building was gutted by fire.
As debris removal is taking time, some lawyers have expressed concern over congestion in the area adjacent to the district and sessions court and the office of the deputy commissioner. There is hardly any space to park more vehicles.
Tree branch falls on lawyer
On Friday, a lady lawyer sustained minor injury after a branch of the tree at the entrance of the district court fell. Lawyers and the clients used to stand under the tree due to space constraints near the POCSO court of the district court complex.
