Shillong, April 29: Former MDC Roynath Sangma passed away on Tuesday.
According to Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, Roynath was a four -term MDC and a committed member of the party since its inception. Roynath shared a close and cherished bond with his late father P.A. Sangma, and played a pivotal role in strengthening the party’s presence, particularly in the Garo Hills region.

“His unwavering dedication, humility, and service to the people will always be remembered. I extend my deepest condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time. May his soul rest in eternal peace”,the CM added.
