Shillong, Sept 22: The agitating GHADC employees are not bothered about the ‘no work no pay’ order of the Council functionaries.
The NGEA said on Wednesday that the GHADC authorities had sufficiently punished them by not paying their salaries for the past three years.

“We are not demanding that they (GHADC) should pay for the period of our agitation and threatening us to do away with our service is nothing new as they have been terminating the service and suspending the office bearers of NGEA for raising voice against non-payment of salary, the NGEA said.
The NGEA also criticised the police for removing the posters put up by the organisation during the ongoing protests.
