Shillong, March 27: Education Minister Rakkam Sangma told the Assembly on Monday that the government is exploring creation of special fund to help the SSA teachers.
He was replying to a question by Gabriel Wahlang on the delay in release of salary to the SSA teachers as the government has to wait for central funds.

According to Gabriel, creation of special fund by the government can address the concerns of the SSA teachers.
The member also raised the issue of equal pay for equal work.
Rakkam said the issues of rationalisation of educational institutions, equitable payments and other issues will be examined by the proposed education commission.
