Shillong, Oct 13: The leader of Voice of Hynniewtrep People, Donbok Kharlyngdoh on Wednesday sought police action against Harijan Colony residents while referring to the action by the police against former HNLC leader Cherishstarfield Thangkhiew.
Speaking to reporters, aftter the sit-in demonstration organised by the Voice of Hynniewtrep People at Malki ground, Kharlyngdoh said if the police can enter the residence of Thangkhiew, they can also take action against the leaders of Harijan Colony.

The high level committee recently recommended to shift the Harijan Colony residents from the present site but the Harijan Panchayat Committee opposed move.
