Shillong, June 24: The Meghalaya & Greater Shillong Progressive Hawkers and Street Vendors Association is celebrating its 10th anniversary from June 25 to 27 with various events at All Saints Hall, IGP, Shillong.
The MGSPHSVA is organising the follow events.
1. The citizens’ mela on three days on June 25, 26, 27 starting at 10 am.
The association has urged all the citizens to participate in the mela by opening stalls and sales materials. Those who are interested to open a stall can call 87318 16794.
2. On the 25/06/2026, the anniversary celebration will commence at 11 am.
3. On the 26/06/2026 there will be a public discourse on, ‘Building People’s Digital Infrastructure’ that benefits the workers. The programme will start at 10 am.
4. On the 27/06/2026, there will be another public interaction on why Shillong is still stuck? A people’s dialogue on navigating the City and Smart City promise. This event starts at 10 am.
Besides, there will be a variety of programmes like plays, dances and songs by renowned artists.
