Shillong, April 19: Famed Shillong racer Jaden Pariat was the attraction at the Indian Racing Festival held at Laitkor, Assam Rifles headquarters, on Saturday.
The JK Tyre -powered festival was presented by the Meghalaya Motorsports Society in collaboration with the Directorate General Assam Rifles (DGAR) and Meghalaya Tourism Chief Guest was the Director General of the Assam Rifles, Lieutenant General Vikas Lakhera.
Guest of honour East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner Rosetta Kurbah, felicitated Hari Singh and Sunny Kumar, who are part of JK Tyre.
Fifteen participating drivers were felicitated by members of the Meghalaya Motorsports Society, recognizing their passion and performance on the track.
Cafe Racers Shillong and Gorilla Garage displayed their modified bikes and superbikes.
The thrill continued with a stunning exhibition of classic cars, supercars, and heavily modified 4x4s, courtesy of passionate car enthusiasts from Shillong and Guwahati.
The finale kicked off with spectacular tyre burnouts and stunt shows by renowned drifters Ashwin Takiar, Sanam Sekhon, and Kham Chyrmang of Cafe Racers. The ground shook and spirits soared as the event wrapped up with a flame-throwing stunt and breathtaking fireworks, leaving the audience with unforgettable memories.
