The KSU Shillong Mihngi Circle also met the authorities of the North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda and Homeopathy (NEIAH) and National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) and asked them to immediately close down.

Banks and offices in the Mawlai area were also closed down.

According to a KSU leader, the functioning of these institutions only shows that they disrespect the indigenous people of the state. He also warned all offices and institutions that failed to respect special occasions and festivals observed by the indigenous people.
