Lok Adalat disposes of 133 cases
Shillong, July 10: The Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority has organised the National Lok Adalat on Saturday in all the districts of the state except West Jaintia Hills, under the aegis of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) and under the patronage of Chief Justice, High Court of Meghalaya and Patron-in-Chief of the Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority (MSLSA) and under the supervision of Justice RV More, Judge, High Court of Meghalaya, and Executive Chairman of the Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority.
In the national lok adalat, 319 pre-litigation cases and 345 pending cases were taken up for settlement.

The total number of cases taken up were 664 and out of which 133 cases with Rs 40,49,334.3 were settled.
