Shillong, Jan 25: Congress MDC from Mairang Batskhem Ryntathiang joined the ruling National People’s Party (NPP), on Thursday.
NPP leader and cabinet minister Ampareen Lyngdoh, welcomed him.

Ampareen is also the candidate for the Shillong parliamentary seat.
Party’s working president and former MLA Hamletson Dohling and other party leaders and workers were also present.
The NPP Mairang Block Committee was also formed for strengthening the party ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.
