Kolkata, Mar 14 (UNI): West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was admitted to hospital after she suffered a head injury on Thursday evening.
According to sources, Banerjee slipped and hit her head on a furniture at her home in south Kolkata. “Our chairperson @MamataOfficial sustained a major injury. Please keep her in your prayers,” the Trinamool Congress wrote.

Banerjee is admitted to the government-run SSKM Hospital. A team of 10 doctors has been formed to treat her. “Our Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee sustained a major injury. @MamataOfficial Please keep her in your prayers,” posted the All India Trinamool Congress on X, formerly Twitter.
