Shillong, July 9: The search panel has finalised the names of members of the expert committee on reservation policy contrary to the claim of cabinet minister Ampareen Lyngdoh that only after submission of views by the political parties that the reservation panel will be formed.
An official source said on Sunday that the names of the members are ready but the name of the chairperson of the committee is yet to be decided.

The members are both from the state and outside, the official said, adding that the matter will be finalised by the cabinet.
