MTA conducts 6th black belt examination

Shillong, June 15: The Meghalaya Taekwondo Association (MTA)  conducted the 6th black belt examination 2026. at 58 GTC, Happy Valley, Shillong.

Candidates from various districts across Meghalaya participated in the examination, making it the highest-ever recorded number of participants appearing for a black belt examination under the association.

Examiners were Samorjyoti Borgohain, Vice President of MTA, &  Jadumoni Singh, General Secretary.

Observer TFI vice president Sokun Singh interacted with candidates, officials, parents, and guardians. He encouraged all participants to continue their dedication to the sport and emphasised the importance of preparing for the upcoming National Games.

MTA will be organising the 4th Meghalaya National Referee Seminar and Refresher Course on  June 27 and 28. The association has urged all eligible candidates, coaches, referees, and affiliated district associations to participate in the programme.

A.T.Rajeev will be the examiner. He was a Technical Official at London 2012 Olympic and Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
