Shiillong, Sept 13: Tears swelled up his eyes as Leader of Opposition Mukul Sangma spoke on Monday about the unity of Khasi-Jaintia-Garo communities in state.
” We have three major tribes but we have not united our Khasi-Jaintia- Garo tribes” he told reporters after the Assembly session and posed to wipe his tears.

He indicated that the political parties and others had only divided the tribes and even referred to ‘Garo Chief Minister or Khasi Chief Minister’.
