Municipal employees on strike over pending pay
Shillong, Nov 30: As many as 600 Shillong Municipal employees are on strike demanding the release of pending salary for four months.
A delegation of employees met Urban affairs minister Sniawbhalang Dhar seeking his intervention.
The minister told them to wait for Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, who is also holding the finance portfolio.
