Shillong,Oct 4 : The vice president, M Venkaiah Naidu has congratulated Rebecca Suchiang for being the first indigenous woman to assume the office of Chief Secretary of Meghalaya.
“Before I conclude, I would like to take a moment to congratulate Rebecca Vanessa Suchiang here for becoming the first indigenous woman chief secretary of Meghalaya. Her achievement will inspire many more young boys and girls of Meghalaya to take up government services as a career in the coming times,” Naidu said on Monday after laying the foundation stone for Shillong-Dawki road project.
