Shillong, Nov 28: North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Ltd (NEDFi) Shillong branch organised a “Business Meet and Awareness Campaign” to celebrate the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Week (Ministry DoNER) at Conference Hall, Meghalaya Bharat Scouts & Guides, Laban, Shillong on November 26.
The awareness campaign’s objective is to share information regarding the different loan schemes of the Corporation and to educate as well as inform the entrepreneurs about the mentoring service provided by NEDFi through its Business Facilitation Centre.
The programme was attended by entrepreneurs based out of the East Hills and the function was also graced by S Majaw General Manager DCIC, East Khasi Hills District, (chief guest), L.Khongrymmai, Functional Manager, DCIC, East Khasi Hills District, and Mendon Pariat, Ex MD, MEHHDC and Ex COO, MSSDS.
P.Rymmai, BM, NEDFi Shillong shared with the entrepreneurs the various project profiles prepared by NEDFi according to the potential of each individual state in the North East to help budding entrepreneurs in their business ideation. The entrepreneurs were also briefed about the North East Venture Fund and the prospects of availing the venture capital fund by startups from Meghalaya.
