Shillong, Aug 4: The state registered 521 new positive cases in the last 24 hours.
The new deaths are 7 (non-vaccinated) while the recoveries are 572.

The total deaths till date are 1125 and the total active cases are 5516.
East Khasi Hills has 238 cases followed by West Khasi Hills 80 and West Garo Hills 79, while the cases in Ri Bhoi have come down to 19.
