Shillong, Apr 22: Police have sought help from Assam to find the culprits involved in the rape of two minor girls in South West Garo Hills.
“We are working on some leads and we have already sought help from our Assam counterpart”, said a senior police official.

BJP state vice president and Tura MDC Bernard N Marak on Monday asked the chief minister Conrad Sangma to ensure justice.
In a letter to Sangma, Marak said, “a gang of miscreants suspected to be from across the border intruded into the mela and committed the crime and fled leaving the victims to an unforgivable and unforgettable horror.”
