Shillong, April 25: NPP leader Prestone Tynsong said political development may take place by May 8.
The PDF wanted to merge with NPP before the Sohiong polls on May 10.

Speaking to reporters, Tynsong expressed confidence that his party will win the Sohiong Assembly seat.
“Our candidate’s prospect is very good and the fight is between us and the UDP candidate and also it seems with the Congress candidate but we will work hard till May 10 and I am sure we will come out victorious,” Tynsong said.
The NPP candidate is former MLA Samlin Malngiang
When asked if there will be any political change after the election, Tynsong said, “I cannot tell you now. Let us see if any political change happens within May 6, 7 and 8.”
