Shillong,May 23: Assembly Speaker Metbah Lyngdoh and Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong held a meeting on Monday to discuss the restoration of Assembly work after the dome collapsed on Sunday.
Though the Speaker will brief the press in the evening after visiting the site and holding discussions with concerned officials and Assembly construction company representatives, the major issue to be decided will be whether a new dome should be constructed or abandon the plan.

Other issues include ordering a high level probe to fix responsibility and scheduling a deadline to complete the construction.
Though it will take two weeks to clear the debris of the dome, other works are on as usual.
