Shillong, May 19: Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong has asked the Leader of Opposition Mukul Sangma to furnish the names of NPP MLAs who are going to contest from other political parties in the 2023 polls.
His response is after Mukul revealed that some NPP MLAs will leave the party ahead of the upcoming Assembly polls

Commenting on Mukul’s view that many sitting MLAs will not come back, Tynsong said, “I cannot foretell the winnability of the sitting legislators and other candidates as it is up to the people concerned to vote. I can’t say anything whether sitting MLAs will come back again or not.”
