Shillong, May 30: The officials from the Director General of GST Intelligence (DGGI) raided the offices and manufacturing plants of illegal coal and coke belonging to father-son duo in Shallang, West Khasi Hills.
West Khasi Hills DP Herbert Lyngdoh confirmed the development.

The officials from Guwahati dealing with GST conducted the raid on May 28 and the police provided security.
According to sources, there are nine coke plants belonging to the father-son -duo and they are illegally operating them.
Documents, cash and computers were also seized.
Similar raid was carried out in Guwahati.
