Shillong, Aug 9: The state government has allowed reopening of religious places from August 16.
Marriages are allowed from August 16, this was informed by Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong who is holding the health portfolio, on Monday.

The places of worship will open with one-third capacity, Tynsong said.
The government will release the SOPs shortly.
