Shillong, March 28: Rs 349 crore has been sanctioned till February for implementation of the Smart City Project in Shillong.
The sanction includes Government of India grant of Rs 294 crore and state matching share of Rs 55 crore, Deputy Chief Minister in-charge Urban Affairs Sniawbhalang Dhar said in his reply to an unstarred question tabled in the Assembly on Tuesday.
He said Rs 280.98 crore has been spent till February this year.
18 projects are being undertaken under the Shillong Smart City, he added.
