Sakilan Chyrmang re-elected as JNC Sumer Circle president

Shillong, Feb 18: The Jaiñtia National Council JNC Sumer Circle renewed its office bearers and Sakilan Chyrmang was elected again as President of the Circle.

The Circle also celebrated its 4th year of service to the community, the meeting was held in Samasi village Community Hall, Elaka Sumer, East Jaiñtia Hills on February 16.

The oath-taking ceremony for the new leaders of the JNC- Sumer Circle was led by CEC President Sambormi Lyngdoh, in the presence of CEC key leader assistant secretary Allmiki Ryngkhlem, publicity secretary Mebanteilang Sukhlaiñ, finance secretary Training Phawa and organising secretary Lasinme Syad, among others.

The meeting was chaired by Waheh Chnong Samasi Kynmoo Chyrmang with a welcome speech by Sakilan Chyrmang and a short history of a journey of a circle by advisor Leading Manar.

Addressing the gathering, JNC President Sambormi Lyngdoh slammed the MDA government for not improving roads and bridges in the area, and instead, bringing coke factory and railway.
