SSLC supplementary exams begin

Shillong, May 1: Supplementary SSLC examinations began on Thursday.

The first paper was Mathematics.

This is the first initiative of the MBoSE aimed at improving the pass percentage.

MBoSE broke pass percentage with 87.10 in the SSLC results declared on April 5.
The state government has given opportunity for the remaining failed students by way of supplementary examinations which will continue  till May 8 in 76 designated centres across the state.
7085 out of 8918 eligible students have registered to appear for the supplementary which is 79.44%.
