Shillong, Sept 25:The state government has formed a committee headed by director of tourism to discuss the entry of Assam tourist vehicles to Meghalaya.
Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma said All Khasi Meghalaya Tourist Taxi Association wrote to him raising the issue and hence the goverment decided to form the committee to look into all aspects related to the matter.

He said besides involving officials from the law department & the police, the stakeholders will be invited for the meeting.
