Trinamool chief on two-day visit to Lucknow
Lucknow, Feb 7 (UNI): West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee reached here on Monday, on a two-day visit to this state capital.
Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav received her at the airport. Banerjee would be staying at a hotel tonight. She would hold a joint press conference with Akhilesh Yadav at the SP party office on Tuesday afternoon.
Before leaving for Lucknow, Banerjee in Kolkata had sought support from all sections in UP for Samajwadi Party in UP polls. The AITC chief will extend support to SP in the UP elections, but her party will not give any candidate. Banerjee will leave for Kolkata tomorrow evening.
