TUR condemns Nagaland killings, wants end to draconian laws

Shillong, Dec 6: The Thma U Rangli-Juki (TUR) has condemned the killing of defenceless ordin

In a statement, TUR said, “This is not the first time that such incidents have taken place here in North-East India, where violence by armed forces has been regularly inflicted on citizens. And what is more unfortunate is the presence of the Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) in some of the states here, which grants Indian armed forces impunity from such actions.”
