Chennai, Dec 12 (UNI): The University Grants Commission (UGC) has directed all the universities and colleges in the country to hold offline exams for all the upcoming semesters in their home centres.
In a circular, UGC Secretary Rajinish Jain said “as all the colleges and universities are operating while maintaining COVID protocols, offline examinations can be taken while maintaining physical distancing at their home centres”.

All the Universities are hereby advised to conduct all the current and future and semester examinations in offline mode with maintaining Covid protocols.
“Universities are requested to take proper precautionary measures for the preparation of conducting examinations in offline mode,” Rajnish Jain said.
