Shiillong, Sept 13: Unprecedented security check was witnessed on the second day of the Assembly session on Monday.
Many people, including journalists had to undergo security drill before the start of the session.

There were heavy deployment of security personnel in areas adjoining the Assembly in Rilbong.
On Friday, the surprise knife surrender by the members of Voice of Mawlai Peopleย at the Meghalaya Secretariat had embarrassed the police and the government alike.
Sources said that the government wants to ensure that the Assembly is free from any security breach.
