Shillong, May 6: The state on Thursday recorded two more Covid-19 deaths and 347 positive cases, 177 of which are in East Khasi Hills.
Munni Ruddil Ahmed (83) of Umsohphoh of Ri Bhoi district was initially admitted in Civil Hospital, Shillong, but later shifted to Bethany Hospital. He died on Wednesday.

Aroti Das (50) of Ichamati in East Khasi Hills died today at her residence.
The state has 2,351 active cases and the death toll has risen to 193. The number of recoveries on the day was 129.
The vaccination drive in the state is on full swing and 7,927 were inoculated at different centres.
