Shillong, Nov 25: Congress member Ronnie V Lyngdoh on Friday said the MDA partners should be ashamed to work under the BJP-led North East Development Alliance (NEDA).
The party organised a candle light vigil on Friday evening at Congress Bhawan for the victims of Mukroh firing incident.
He accused the MDA government of surrendering to Assam government and its authorities.
“Claiming that they are under the NEDA for development is nothing but an abject surrender to the state of Assam and to the authorities of the Assam government,” Lyngdoh told reporters.
He alleged that the chief minister doesn’t even have the guts or the courage to condemn the Mukroh firing incident just forget about arresting the Assam police personnel who killed the five innocent civilians at Mukroh village.
