Shillong, Dec 20: Ri Bhoi SP Giri Prasad M has replaced Jagpal Singh Dhanoa, the SP of East Jaintia Hills.
Dhanoa will be the new Ri Bhoi SP.
The High Court on Tuesday ordered the transfer of the East Jaintia Hills SP following the illegal transportation of coal in the district.
The home department in its transfer and promotion order on Tuesday included the names of both the SPs for transfer and posting.
