Shillong, July 15: Disciplinary action has been ordered against the orderly of Meghalaya DGP and he has been removed from police head quarters following the violent incident at Nongmensong police outpost on July 14.
According to Home Minister Lahkmen Rymbui, the orderly identified as armed branch constable Badambok Khongwir along with another individual, Henry Kharkongor had created trouble in Nongmensong after getting drunk.

After they were brought to the Nongmensong oupost, the duo were targeted by an angry mob which gathered at the outpost.
Three CRPF personnel were injured and many vehicles were damaged during the incident.
