Shillong, Aug 31: The Hima Sohra has decided to set up an entry gate to check Covid status of the tourists visiting Sohra from September 1.
The representatives of Hima Sohra met the Deputy Commissioner Isawanda Laloo on Tuesday in this regard.

The letter of Hima Sohra submitted to the deputy commissioner said that only fully vaccinated people are allowed to enter Sohra.
The local tourists with single dose can produce provisional certificates and the general tourists who have been vaccinated with single dose and those from the age group of 11 to 18 who accompany the adults should produce Covid test reports.
There are other restrictions brought out by the Hima.
The state government had issued separate guidelines regarding the visit of tourists.
