Kolkata, July 6 (UNI): ATK Mohun Bagan signed Ashutosh Mehta, one of the star defenders in the country.
With the addition of Ashutosh, one of the most reliable side backs of the Indian team, the strength of Antonio Habas’ team’s defence has increased for the upcoming season.
He played well in the Indian Super League last season. He was called to play in the National Team as well.
Ashutosh’s strength is that he succeeds as an attacking side back. He is especially effective in 3-5-2 formation.
This is what Ashutosh Mehta told the ATK MB Media team after signing the agreement with ATK Mohun Bagan. “I like the football philosophy and the unyielding attitude of Habas Sir. The team has great unity. The team fights until the last minute. I am so proud to be able to sign for the best team in the country.”

Antonio Lopez Habas said, “He is a complete player. He has the great physical capacity, good airplay and remarkable technical-tactical conditions. At the same time, he can play in different positions in defensive lines of 3-4-5. We have a lot of expectations from him for the next season.”
