BJP central leaders visit Tura to strengthen party ahead of polls

Shillong, June 7: Ajay Jamwal, BJP leader in-charge of organisation (NE) visited Tura to take stock of preparations for upcoming election.

The party felt that growth of BJP in Garo Hills is inevitable and it is growing in numbers everyday.

In a statement, BJP leader Bernard Marak said  hundreds of Garo Hills leaders attended the meeting hosted by Tura City District in Tura and submitted reports

The BJP welcomed new members to the party in a meeting chaired by the state president Ernest Mawtrie,  and attended by Jamwal as the chief guest and accompanied by  BJP leader in-charge Meghalaya Dr M Chuba Ao.

The handbill of 8 years of achievement of BJP government was also released in the meeting.

Marak said the preparation for 2023 election is going in full swing with assurance of Garo Hill’s leaders to win maximum seats.
